Steven Keys is a British born Chef, but is highly Influenced by his Italian/French Canadian and Indian heritage and the traditional dishes his grandmother cooked.

He attended the prestigious Culinary Institute of Birmingham College, and gained experience working at a range of British hotels, varying from large scale, high-end chain hotels; to boutique, luxury manors.

In 2007 Steven relocated to Hong Kong and has been instrumental in setting up and revitalising restaurants across the territory, introducing his style of honest, fresh-made dishes, which focus more on taste & flavour rather than haughty style or gimmicks.

He is a firm believer that good, quality food can be served in an simple way, with decent portions & pricing without sacrificing innovation or quality – A belief that suits Momentai down to a tee!
